How to make M&P Glycerin Soap

M&P Clear Soap

Approximitely 1/4 of Castor oil as base oil is used to make Glycerin Soap.
To make the soap clear, the soap is needed sugar and alcohol.
Glycerin is not a crucial ingredient to make your soap clear;
however, glycerin is good for your skin because it attracts moisture to your skin.

What kind of Alcohol you will need is:
Any kind of alcohol should be worked to make your soap clear; however,
the higher percentage of alcohol you use, the better results you have.
If you pour 70% alcohol into your soap mixture, the mixture has app. 30% of excessed water than
using 99% alcohol; as a result, your soap become softer than you expected.

I recommend that you'd better use 91-99% alcohol.
The more alcohol contains in your soap , the more clearer your soap turn out.

What kind of Water you will need is:
Purified or disttiled Water may be the best to make soap, but you can use spring water.
I do not recommend top water because some kind of chemical and ions contain in the water.
Cloudness of glycerin soap is able to be caused by quality of the water, too.

Is Glycerin Soap NOT crystal clear?!

It depends on what kind of oils you choose and how much opaque oils you are working with.
Some of my recipes that include stearic acid will turn out clearer soap than the other recipes without using stearic acid.

Even thought you choose the recipe that includes stearic acid, the result of your soap is not clear like glass.
To be exact, it looks like ice cubes or Nata de coco; however, if you color your soap,
the soap is transparant enough, and you can look through over there.
